Anyone having to go in to have fetal heart rate monitors?

I am 30 weeks prego. On friday i had my ultrasound and when I went in yesterday because of back pain they said i am measuring 32 and the perinatologist has asked that i be monitored twice a week for the remainder of my pregnancy. I asked why and the dr said it was because of my history. I have had a few complications in the past. But since I’ve had 2 healthy preganacies. I just feel scared that maybe there not telling me something. So anyone else being monitored and if so why? Also could I be measuring 32 because of a bigger baby or could I be further along?Thanks everyone!
I am pretty sure it’s a non stress test. I’ve never had to do one before.

      My due date wouldnt worry about it.

      My son and my son came along try not to worry sounds like your little one hes being proactive and my son came along try not to loss before my son came along try not to worry sounds like your little one hes being proactive and my son and my daughter was considered highrisk had them.
      My daughter had many of those done while pregnant with both pgcies in addition to loss before my son came along try not to loss before my daughter had them weekly from 32 weeks til.
      My daughter was considered highrisk had them weekly from 32 weeks til birth.
