Fetal Monitors

Can anyone tell me where I can find a Prenatal Heart Monitor in Toronto and surrounding areas? My wife and I are expecting our first child and would like to purchase one of these monitors.

My best friend (who is pergnent ) and me was listoning to her babys heart beat, and she playingly put it on my belly. We heared what sound like a heart beat. and it sound kind of like hers.

Is anyone else using a fetal heart monitor so you can hear your baby’s heartbeat? I am using is already at 19 weeks and can faintly hear the heart beat with it…. I LOVE IT. I also bought it with a fetal microphone and a prenatal classical CD to play for him 10 min at a time twice a day.

What have your experiences been using these things? How much louder does the heartbeat get as you get further along?
