Anyone use one of those fetal hearbeat monitor you can buy at a department store?

We bought one from Wal-Mart and tried it out. It is pretty neat hearing the little thumps and bops of the baby moving around but as of yet, no heartbeat… My wife is 19 weeks as of today, anyone have any idea how soon we may be able to hear it with the monitor?
