Please I am so scared. My doc has me doing this fetal movement monitoring where there has to be 10 or more movements in an hour. Well my little one is usually so active and i have not felt her since last night. I did the whole cold water then lay on your side thing and she kicked once. What does that mean? I am so nervous please help me.

And the obvious is call he doc so no need to write that but the office doesnt open until 10 and i ijust wanted some advice from other mothers. THANKS!!!!!

thank you all for all your answers some made me feel a lot better. I am just nervous because i thought i knew my babes pattern but as you all said maybe she’s just having a lazy day. I hope anyway. Its very easy to get worried at the slightest little thing for me because i have had miscarriages in the past so everything scares me.
I sarted counting movements because i started having contractions i guess? Not too sure why but this counting thing started once i was hospitalized for preterm labor..

Is anyone else using a fetal heart monitor so you can hear your baby’s heartbeat? I am using is already at 19 weeks and can faintly hear the heart beat with it…. I LOVE IT. I also bought it with a fetal microphone and a prenatal classical CD to play for him 10 min at a time twice a day.

What have your experiences been using these things? How much louder does the heartbeat get as you get further along?

I have been looking online and I can not decide. I would imagine that the expensive 150-200 dollar ones would work best. But I see some from 25-50 dollars. Has anyone bought one? Which brand and about how much and how well did it work! I am 7w5d and I am wanting to get one so when I get about 10 weeks I can hear my baby and just keep some peace at mind while I wait in between appts. Thanks!
