Yes, it grabs the top of the baby’s scalp. I had one when I was in labor. I had no idea that it did that until after it had happened. I thought it was some kinda sticky thing. They even had to redo it before it was all said and done. It was awful at the time. She had two little marks on top of her head, but she was fine.

The best way to see this is what causes the skin and that is what causes the baby moving and bleeding.
