fetal heart monitors??

k asked:

For the fetal heart monitors at bellybeats. com do you need to get a doctor’s note saying you can rent one?? Also did you find it helpful or did you find that it made you more nervous?? I am almost 20 weeks and am debating if I should get one or not. Thanks for the comments.

Don’t waste your money! I bought one, used it a handful of times and never used it again.

I used heartones.com, not bellybeats, but they did not require a doctor’s note.

I found it very helpful–it was reassuring to know that everything was ok. I was paranoid after my miscarriage. Now that I’m 28 weeks pregnant, I hardly ever use it because I can feel her moving, but I used it constantly up until 20 or 24 weeks.
