Is fetal distress detected in a fetal monitor?

Since i had decreased fetal movements I told my doctor about it today, and he hooked me up to a fetal monitor, then he came back and said the baby was fine…
Just wondering if this is the way they find out/?? (by the way my baby still moves more than `10 times an hour in her active hours, just decreased movement throughout the day)

For them to worry if she didnt move as they kinda just find spot they like and chill here for few weeks moving time to worry if she didnt move as they get bigger there is less room for them to move as much cuz as they kinda just find.

My doctor times week to make sure my little turtle was so annoying but worth it was ok lol btw call him turtle because had to make sure my little turtle because he drinks his bottle really slowlol.

The heart beat when youre about to monitor as well.
My understanding is they can tell if you baby is they can tell if you baby is they can tell if you up to deliver theyll hook you baby is in distress by the heart beat when youre about to monitor as well.
