      I’ve heard of people changing positions and applying pressure when there aren’t nurses around. But all that will likely get you is a cervical exam to check progress. If you’re not progressing they’ll think you’re faking or braxton hicks.

      What would be the point - all the hospital needs to do is an internal and see you are not dilating anyway!
