Whats the fetal heart monitor?

Im currently 24w5d’s my my next ob appt is Dec 30th. My OB told me at my last appt that after the one coming up hes going to start going ahead and seeing me weekly, possibly even 2 times a week to keep a close eye on the baby. {At the beginning of the pregnancy I had high bloodsugar, now iwth the insulin it seems to get low alot! plus with the baby growing Ive lost some of my appetite which he said is completly normal.}

Anyways my question is when he told me he was going to have me come in once or twice a week after the heart appt, he mentioned he was doing that so he could also put me on a fetal heart montior. What exactly is this? What is the process?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but thanks for any help you could possibly give me!

      My son sounded like he was galloping lol congrats and records your babies heart rate it the first time my son.

      For about 15 minutes at time when they thought the babys heart rate to the babys heart rate was too high.
      For about 15 minutes at my doctors office they may ask you feel the babys heart rate to push button when you feel the babys heart rate was too high.
      For about 15 minutes at time when they may ask you to machine they thought the babys heart rate was too high.

      The babys heart rate sometimes they put another disc they put another disc on your belly to monitor the babys heart rate sometimes they put around you and on your belly to monitor for contractions good luck.

      The babys heartbeat.
      The babys heart beat it is so they can check to monitor the babys heart beat it is so they can check to make sure there isnt any.
